Excellent location, close to beautiful beaches and towns of interest. Friendly and helpful hosts who provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Top-quality property with high standards of cleanliness and comfort
The property is situated behind the hosts' main residence, which slightly detracts from the overall experience

We had an really good stay at the Lodge in Polgooth. The location, tucked away in a quiet village near St Austell, was perfect for a relaxing holiday. The lodge itself was beautifully furnished with attention to detail, including a fully integrated kitchen and a super comfy bed. We also loved the technology provided, like the large screen TVs, Netflix, and built-in Bluetooth hifi system. The hosts, Sue and Pete, were cute and accommodating. They made us feel like part of the family without being overbearing. The peaceful and scenic surroundings of the lodge made it a perfect choice for a longer holiday. We cannot fault our experience and can't wait to return in the future.

In terms of positives, the staff members were friendly and welcoming. Another positive aspect was the size of the room. It was spacious and had enough room for me to relax and unwind. Lastly, the hotel did offer a complimentary breakfast, which was a nice touch. the quality of the food was subpar and lacked variety.
My Christmas stay at this hotel left much to be desired. the cleanliness of the accommodation was a major letdown.

The lodge exceeded my expectations in terms of its quality and amenities. The furnishings were top-notch and the lodge was fully equipped with modern technology, including WiFi and Bluetooth speakers in every room. I particularly enjoyed being able to stream my own music and watch Netflix on the TV. Additionally, the location in a quiet and scenic area was perfect for a relaxing and extended holiday.
I found the road leading to the property and the parking area to be quite tight, but still manageable. While the hosts were friendly and welcoming, I couldn't help but feel a bit overlooked since the lodge is situated in their back garden.
